Carrow House welcomes and supports the educational use of its collections. It works in partnership with learners and other providers to inspire and educate.

Events and activities
Schools are welcome to visit the current exhibitions at Carrow House. Booking is essential. To make a booking and discuss your needs please telephone Carrow House reception on 01603 223870 Tailor-made sessions can be arranged to suit schools’ individual needs.

Booking and access



For visits to other Norwich museums, occasional special events at Carrow House, or to find out what else is on offer please explore the Learning Department section on the museum website or phone the booking line on 01603 493636. Booking is essential for all events

Please note that parking at Carrow House is very restricted: coaches should pull up on the road outside and mini-buses should drive into the drive to drop off. The nearest public car-park and parking for coaches is Rouen Road (5 mins walk from Carrow House). Carrow House has no refreshment facilities or shop at present.
Please mention any special access requirements at the time of booking.

What’s on offer for students & adult learners?


Adult learners and students of all ages and from all backgrounds are invited to use the study centre. You can visit as an individual or as part of a group.
